The international youth camp Shape the Future took place in Sadova, Suceava County! Between June 23 and 28, 35 young people aged between 16 and 25, from Romania, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Moldova, and Sweden, participated in an intense experience of learning, connecting, and transforming.
The camp was part of the Erasmus+ project E-LoCUM – Local Compacts of the United Mates of Europe. The main goal is raising awareness about migration challenges and actively involving young people in building more inclusive communities based on solidarity and non-discrimination.
Through workshops, discussions, and activities, the event aimed to:
Promote social inclusion – by developing empathy and learning
Increase civic engagement – encouraging young people to actively contribute to finding welcoming solutions for migrants
Strengthen intercultural skills – preparing young people to become ambassadors of diversity in their communities.
