Increasing civic engagement: encouraging young people to participate in developing youth-friendly solutions at local and transnational levels, addressing the challenge of migration.
Strengthening intercultural competences: preparing young people to become ambassadors of diversity and inclusion in their communities.
The amazing adventure in the words of the Slovenian team:
“Day 1: First we had a workshop in which we were talking about common values, using pictures, acts and drawings. After lunch we went on a short tour around the center of Athens. We took a look at the Athens national garden and we also saw other sculptures of Athens.
Day 2: today we had a workshop where we reflect on our emotions with colors. We also had a work shop where we talked about what we would take if we had to leave our country. We had a fun time.
Day 3: today we talked a lot about fake news, disinformation and misinformation we also had workshops on that. In the evening, we went to see the Benaki museum. We had a lot of fun today.
Day 4: so today we first had a workshop where we talked about public speaking and what is important to have the listeners attention. After that we divided into groups where we had to make our one country and present it.
Over all we had an amazing time and we will always remember this experience. We liked the workshops, the hostel and we enjoyed Athens in general.
