TWO DAYS OF YOUTH DEMOCRATIC PARTICIPATION ON MIGRATION
E-LoCUM gives young Europeans a voice on migratory issues. The debate around migration is often polarized, making it an excellent opportunity to train in critical thinking, media literacy, and intercultural awareness.
E-LoCUM encourages young people to engage with diverse opinions in order to become active and aware European citizens, ready to face today’s challenges.
Throughout 2024-2025, E-LoCUM has worked in each partner country to collect young people’s ideas, proposals, and perspectives on migrations
and their representation.
This process has created genuine opportunities for sharing and exchange among people from diverse backgrounds. On October 23rd and 24th, in Gorizia, we will reap the benefits of such work by reaching a consensus on a joint Multilateral Compact: a common proposal signed by the European youth which will ultimately be presented to public officials and the civil society.
